Introduction of Lab Grown Diamonds

A lab grown diamond is one that is born in the laboratory instead of extracted from Earth. Yet, it does not mean that the lab grown diamond is man-made or any less “real” than the Earth-mined diamond.

Using state of the art technology that replicates the natural process of a diamond’s growth beneath the ground, the lab grown diamond possesses the exact same qualities of mined diamonds chemically, physically and optically.

How are Lab Grown Diamonds created

A lab grown diamond is created through replication of the intense heat and pressure required to form diamonds on Earth, within the laboratory environment.

The diamond seed is brought into the lab and the conditions would cause the carbon to crystallise into a diamond. New carbon crystals continue to build upon the diamond seed, creating a larger diamond.
